Mood based coffee.

choose how you want to feel, we’ll choose the cup

Most coffee is sold on origin, roast and tasting notes. Useful if you already know what you like. Useless at 7:30 in the morning when the only question that matters is what are you about to do?

Mood based coffee starts from the other end. You name the state you want to be in, and the brew, the strength and the format follow from that. Same specialty Arabica every time. What changes is how it is extracted and how long it takes to get to you.

Nothing is added. No adaptogens, no nootropics, no protein, no sweeteners. The mood is matched by choosing the right coffee, not by putting something else in it.

At homeNo café required Three formats

The same six moods,
without a barista.

A café can pull a different shot for every mood. At home you need the format to do that work instead. Each Séquence format covers a different part of the day.

01 Drip Bag 2 minutes

Hot brew specialty coffee with no equipment at all. Closest to a pour over, so it suits Focus and Flow.

02 Liquid Espresso Concentrate 30 seconds

A 20 ml sachet into hot water, cold water or milk. Hot or iced, strong or long, which makes it the one for Energize and Reset.

03 Premium Instant 20 seconds

Silk Blend into 120–150 ml of water or milk. Smooth and forgiving, built for Connect and Unwind.

QuestionsAsked honestly, answered the same way FAQ

Straight answers.

What is mood based coffee?

Mood based coffee is a way of ordering that starts with the state you want to be in rather than the bean you want to drink. Instead of choosing between origins and roast levels, you choose a character — Focus, Flow, Reset, Connect, Energize or Unwind — and the brew method, strength, serving size and temperature follow from that. The coffee itself is the same specialty Arabica throughout.

Is mood based coffee the same as functional coffee?

No, and the difference matters. Functional coffee adds ingredients — adaptogens, nootropics, collagen, protein — to change how the drink affects you. Séquence adds nothing at all. Every cup is 100% Arabica and water. The mood is matched by changing the extraction, the ratio and the format, not by putting something else in the cup.

How do I know which mood to pick?

Pick by what is about to happen, not by how you feel right now. Two hours of deep work is Focus. A long conversation is Connect. An afternoon that has already gone badly is Reset. If you are unsure, the lookup table above maps twelve everyday states onto the six characters.

Is this specialty coffee?

Yes. It is shade-grown Arabica from Indian estates, hand-picked as ripe cherry, washed and fermented under controlled conditions, dried on raised beds and screened before roasting. Each format gets its own roast profile rather than one profile stretched across all three.

Can I get mood based coffee without a café?

That is the point of the formats. Drip bags brew in two minutes with nothing but hot water, liquid concentrate mixes in thirty seconds hot or cold, and premium instant dissolves in twenty. All three travel, so the same six moods work at a desk, in a hotel room or on a flight.

Does decaf still count as a mood?

Unwind is decaffeinated on purpose. A large part of what coffee does for people is the ritual rather than the caffeine, and late in the evening the ritual is the part worth keeping. It is the same bean, decaffeinated, served small and warm.
